Due to changing circumstances, the waterjet cutting machine might be needed to upgrade to better meet the current needs. The machine can be, for example, equipped with new cutting heads or automatic lubrication system, change cutting head from 3-axis to 5-axis, or increase safety systems.

HIGH PRESSURE TECHNOLOGY UPGRADES
Upgrading the pump to a more efficient one can increase the production speed and production output, as well as it will possibility to cut more challenging materials. Also, the timely replacement of the pump ensures continuous production without interruptions due to the pump. Switching from 4000 bar high pressure technology to 6200 bar technology, will greatly improve machine productivity.
AUTOMATION AND SOFTWARE UPDATES
Updates to the waterjet control allow you to take full advantage of the new features and makes it more efficient to operate. CAD / CAM software updates help improve machine productivity and cut programming.
One important software update is updating the machine’s compensation figures to correspond current mechanical situation. As the ball screws used in the machine might wear out over time, the software should also be updated to maintain the required machining accuracy.
We provide geometry measurements for waterjet cutting machines with the Renishaw XL-80 laser measuring device. We have a laser measuring device that can measure linear positioning accuracy, angular deviation and straightness:
- Linear optics up to 40 m
- Angle optics up to 15 m
- Straight optics up to 30 m
The true positioning accuracy of the waterjet cutting machine will help you to make the correct compensation for motion errors. It also provides information if more demanding mechanical maintenance and repair are required.
In addition to measurement, our service includes possible corrective action proposals, such as necessary compensation changes, and mechanical maintenance. The service always includes measurement results before and after corrective actions.
